An Introduction to eFMs
eFMs was formed in early 2011 by Kevin Simkin an experienced Estates and Facilities Manager, who had been working in the Further Education Sector in a large West Midlands College with several sites to manage along with a £66m New Build Project.
Having reviewed a variety of Facility Management Software Applications over a number of years, all of which were very good, but didn't quite do what I, as an Estates Manager wanted, at least not without some expensive "tweaking".
I set about designing and writing my own application. My goal was to produce a fully inclusive, cost effective and simple to use FM Software Application.
